Implants are a very successful long term solution for replacing any number of missing teeth.

Made from titanium in its purest form and with over 40 years of development Implants are inserted into the jaw bone during a short operation, under local anaesthetic.

They integrate with the surrounding bone forming a secure base for final restoration with a crown, bridge or denture.

The benefits of Implants:

  • Providing a stable restoration of missing teeth whilst maintaining the stability of surrounding teeth and gums, preventing possible movement of the surrounding teeth.
  • Providing a permanent solution.
  • Healthy teeth do not have to be cut down (as traditionally happens for the placement of a bridge).
  • Like natural tooth roots, implants transmit chewing forces evenly to the jaw bone.
  • Chewing stress maintains healthy bone, resulting in prevention of bone loss.
  • Maintaining a healthy condition of the mouth and natural facial structure, supporting the lips and minimising wrinkles around the mouth.
  • Vastly improved retention can be achieved for dentures, requiring reduced or no palate, resulting in less interference with speech and taste, whilst preventing damage to remaining teeth from incorrect loading.
  • Restoration of natural chewing ability and assisting good digestion.
